William "Bill" Aslett served as the "At-Large" Council member for the City of Burlington from December 9, 1999 through December 31, 2009. He began as Ward 6 Council member January 2010. He is a graduate of Highline Community College and Western Washington University with a degree in economics and business administration. He has been a professional sales representative in the field of pharmaceuticals since 1999.


Prior to that he had a career in management of pharmacy/retail stores from 1980 - 1999. Bill, his wife, and three children have lived in Burlington more than 20 years and are involved in many volunteer activities in support of the community and its schools. He served two years as vice president for Little League; was a scoutmaster; advisor to the DECA Club at Oak Harbor High School; and was co-chair of the Citizen's Advisory Committee for the Burlington-Edison School District.

He presently serves as a member of the Investment Committee, Public Safety Committee, Land Use Committee and the Homeless Transition Committee.
