City Administration
The City of Burlington is a code city with a mayor-council form of government. The city administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of the City on behalf of the Mayor, whom he reports to. The personnel records are maintained by the Administration Department.

City Administrator
The city administrator's primary responsibilities include providing and maintaining essential City services through the efficient and effective management and operation of the City under the direction of the mayor. The City Administrator executes the policy direction set by the mayor through the management of City departments and approximately 94 full-time employees. His office is located on the second floor of City Hall.

The dedication for City Hall, located at 833 S. Spruce St. was held July 21, 2007. This brings several departments together in one location to better serve the public.
