Take and Make Kits

While the Burlington Public Library is closed due to the public health crisis, we have created Take and Make Kits for kids and teens of all ages to bring the Library home to them! Stop by the Library on Tuesdays for the next Kids' Take and Make Kit and on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays for the newest Teen Take and Make Kits.  

The Kits are available for pick up during the Library's Express Holds Pickup Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 am until 3pm
Wednesdays from 2 pm until 7 pm

Available while supplies last!

Play and Learn to Go

Ages Birth to 4
If you're missing storytime, this is the program for you! Pick up a Play and Learn to Go activity kit from Burlington Public Library during express holds service times. Each bilingual activity kit includes themed crafts, learning activities, and a mini-book in both Spanish and English. A new activity kit is premiered every week and available while supplies last. Kits are free and available to the public, a library card is not required to receive an activity kit.

Fun Timers to Go

Ages 4 to 7
Calling all artists and crafty kiddos! Pick up a Fun Timers to Go activity kit from Burlington Public Library during express holds service times. Each bilingual activity kit contains the bulk of the materials needed for one art or craft activity (you may need your own scissors, tape, or crayons.) A new activity kit is premiered every week and available while supplies last. Kits are free and available to the public, a library card is not required to receive an activity kit.

Scientists and future engineers, report for duty! Pick up a STEAM to Go project kit from Burlington Public Library during express holds service times. Each bilingual STEAM kit contains the bulk of the materials needed for one STEAM project (you may need your own scissors, tape, etc.) A new project kit is premiered every week and available while supplies last. Kits are free and available to the public, a library card is not required to receive a project kit.

Teen Take and Make Kits: 2nd Wednesday

Ages 12-18

Calling all creative and crafty teens! On the 2nd Wednesday of the month, come pick up a new Teen Take & Make Kit! Kits will come with nearly everything you need to create a cool project. Projects may include food, tiny coffins, rocks, and more! Confused? Better pick up one up and find out for yourself!
