The Burlington Chamber of Commerce COVID-19 Resources page has great information for small businesses trying to access the Families First Coronavirus Response Act sick, medical, and family leave and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security  (CARES) Act programs. They have also included a list of services that are available in the Burlington area, where you can access free Wi-Fi, public restrooms, parks, golf courses, and restaurants providing take out.

Fire Technology Scholarship Skagit Valley College and the Skagit County Joint Fire Agencies are offering scholarships to new qualifying Fire Protection Technology first-year students beginning Fall Quarter 2021! This scholarship opportunity covers the cost of tuition, fees books, uniforms, and certificates for the entire two-year degree program (worth approximately $8,000 annually), and membership as a firefighter/EMT in a participating Skagit County fire agency.
